Gallagher Europe is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to oversee sales and marketing activities across Austria. This role is perfect for a young professional seeking a new challenge. As the influencer and key person within our network in Austria, you are face of our brand within the agriculture. you'll actively work to grow and strengthen our presence on social media, driving engagement and increasing brand awareness across platforms. Your efforts will help shape the brand's identity and expand its reach within our community.

What will you do as Account Manager at Gallagher Europe?

You’re a true relationship builder, skilled at driving growth from existing partnerships while expanding the membership base of the current cooperatives. The successful candidate will thrive in both retail and online store environments, understanding shelf management, retail strategies, and negotiation principles. A background in the agricultural, livestock or equine industry is highly preferred to align with our dealer network and product offering. Networking with industry partners to build the market and our brand is an important additional skill.

As an account manager your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Dealer Support: Work closely with Gallagher’s dealer network to support them with product knowledge, shelf placement, promotional activities and after sales support that maximize sales. In addition, the account manager will visit end-users, identify leads for new projects, and work collaboratively with dealers to develop and grow the market.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Lead and participate in activities such as trade fairs, networking events, and lead-driven visits to end-users to drive brand awareness and product adoption.
  • New Business Acquisition: Focus converting potential prospects within our existing network into loyal customers. Build long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure continuous growth.
  • Market Development: Identify and map the Austria market, targeting retail stores and online platforms. Analyze market potential and customer needs to develop and implement strategic customer plans.
  • Negotiation & Sales: Use your knowledge of retail principles and negotiation skills to close deals and secure the best possible product placements in stores.
  • Reporting: Regularly update and maintain CRM systems to track progress, opportunities, and customer feedback.

Job requirements

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive sales professional who thrives on success and is eager to take Gallagher's brand to new heights in Austria. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sales Expertise: You have experience in B2B sales in your starting career, preferably within retail or online sales environments. You are a true relationship builder who understands exactly how to engage customers and deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • Retail & Negotiation Knowledge: Experience with shelf placement, retail management, and strong negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this role.
  • Agriculture Background: A background or experience in the agricultural, livestock or equine industry is highly desirable to better understand and engage with our dealer network.
  • Technical & CRM Skills: Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strategic & Goal-Oriented: A strategic thinker who can independently identify potential markets and prospects while setting clear, achievable sales goals.
  • Willingness to Travel: You are comfortable traveling across Austria with regularly overnight stays during the week.
  • Valid Driving License: A valid Austria’s driver’s license is required.
  • You Live within the Triangle of cities: Salzburg, Linz & Graz because this is the central area for most of our customers
