Are you an account manager who is interested in the agricultural market? Do you enjoy working in an international environment where you drink Dutch coffee with colleagues from all over Europe? Than you might be our new internal Account Manager we are looking for!


With representation in almost all European countries, through over 6,000 dealers, the absolute top in animal care and electric fencing is supplied under the Gallagher Europe name. When you join our Internal Sales team in our head office in Groningen, you can make a significant contribution to the growth and construction of our organization and help us increase market share in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. You are responsible for the relationship management and sales of your own customer base. You will serve them by phone, online meetings and e-mail. You are in close contact with the account managers and regional sales manager in the United Kingdom, but also with our back office team at the office. You work also closely together with your colleagues of your Internal sales team and can count on the support and coaching of your manager.


What will you do as Internal Account Manager at Gallagher Europe?
In this position, you are responsible for the following tasks, among others

  • Increasing the turnover of existing accounts through phone calls, online meetings and written relationship management
  • Generating new accounts by means of internet and telephone, based on a well thought-out prospecting plan in collaboration with the field sales team
  • Identifying potential in the market
  • Analysing the vision, strategy and purchasing policy of new potential accounts
  • Increasing the turnover of existing accounts through phone calls, online meetings and written relationship management
  • Achieving set sales targets by meeting Key Performance Indicators and objectives
  • Selling annual/monthly promotions
  • Collecting and documenting information about accounts, products and/or market knowledge
  • Responsible for after sales
  • Generating new orders and creating quotations
  • Creating an account plan
  • Advising correctly end-users in order to increase the turnover of your portfolio or of the online sales.

Job requirements

Do you recognize yourself here?

  • You have a perfect knowledge of the English and dutch language
  • Experience in telephone sales and acquisition
  • You have good commercial skills
  • Affinity with animals and with the agricultural market is a plus
  • You are pro-active and your ability to take initiatives, your rigour and seriousness are essential assets
  • You have a good command of office automation tools like Office and CRM programs
